Biografía

Whisper Of Death es una banda peruana de Death/Doom melódico, formada en el frio invierno del año 2015 en la ciudad de Cusco por músicos jóvenes de la escena metal local enfocados a componer música buscando un estilo propio. A finales del año 2015 preparan su dos primeros temas “Deep Spirit” “Elegy of Silence”, con una marcada influencia del metal europeo que contine lirica abstracta abocada al doom metal, después de esta etapa la banda se enfoca en un sonido más melancólico y obscuro agregando partes instrimuntales, saliendo a la luz los siguientes temas “Exodus of the Dammed” y “Dead Eclipse” con liricas enfocadas en los conflictos internos del ser. A mediados del año 2016 la banda empieza a tocar en diferentes eventos de la escena nacional y a su vez inician el proceso de grabación de su primer EP compuesto por los cuatro primeros temas de la banda, para la navidad del año 2016 la banda lanza un videoclip de su quinta composición “Beyond” caracterizada por un sonido más denso y con mayor de presencia de partes instrumentales y una lírica enfocada en la madre muerte. Para el año 2017 la banda prepara el lanzamiento oficial de su primer EP y se enfoca en la composición de nuevos temas tomando una dirección más agresiva en el sonido sin dejar de lado su esencia doom.

Biography

Whisper Of Death is a Peruvian Melodic Death Doom band, formed during the cold winter of 2015 in the city of Cusco by young musicians in the local metal scene, with a focus on composing music in their own style. At the end of 2015 they created the first singles "Deep Spirit" and "Eulogy of Silence," with a distinct influence of European metal, that contain abstract lyrics tending towards doom metal. After that stage, the band started to focus on a more dark and melancholic sound, adding more instrumental parts, bringing to light the next singles "Exodus of the Damned" and "Death Eclipse," with lyrics focused on the conflicts of being. In the middle of 2016 Whisper of Death started to play at different events on the national stage and start the process of recording their first EP featuring their first singles. Around Christmas of 2016 the band released a videoclip of their fifth composition "Beyond," characterised by a more dense sound, and with more instrumental parts and lyrics focused on "Mother Death". During 2017, the band has prepared the official release of the first EP and has focused on the composition of their next singles. These singles will take a more aggressive direction in their sound, but without loosing the doom essence.
